Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila (silver or blanco)
- 1 oz (30 ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Agave syrup or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 3-4 Fresh strawberries (plus extra for garnish)
- Salt or sugar (optional, for rimming)
- Lime wheel for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- If rimming the glass, run a lime wedge around the rim of a Margarita glass and dip it into salt or sugar (optional). Set aside.
- In a blender or mixing glass, muddle the fresh strawberries to extract their juice and flavors.
- Add tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, and agave syrup (or simple syrup) to the muddled strawberries.
- Fill the blender or mixing glass with ice cubes.
