Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) Whiskey (Irish whiskey or bourbon)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Hot water (approximately 6-8 oz, adjust to taste)
- Cloves (optional)
- Lemon slice (optional)
- Cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the water in a kettle or saucepan until hot but not boiling.
- In a heat-resistant glass or mug, add the whiskey and honey.
- Pour the hot water over the whiskey and honey mixture in the glass.
- Optionally, stud a lemon slice with cloves and add it to the glass for added flavor and aroma. Or use a cinnamon stick as a stirring implement.
