Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila (preferably blanco)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple syrup or agave syrup (optional)
  • Splash of grapefruit soda or Jarritos grapefruit soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime or orange wedge for garnish
  • Salt or Tajín (optional, for rimming)

Instructions
 

  • If desired, rim a clay pot or highball glass with salt or Tajín by moistening the rim with a lime or orange wedge and dipping it into a plate of salt or Tajín. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • In the glass filled with ice, pour tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
  • Add simple syrup or agave syrup to taste, depending on your preference for sweetness.
  • Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  • Top off the glass with a splash of grapefruit soda or Jarritos grapefruit soda, typically about 2-4 ounces, depending on your preference for strength and effervescence.
