- 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila (preferably blanco)
- 1 oz (30 ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz (30 ml) Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple syrup or agave syrup (optional)
- Splash of grapefruit soda or Jarritos grapefruit soda
- Ice cubes
- Lime or orange wedge for garnish
- Salt or Tajín (optional, for rimming)
If desired, rim a clay pot or highball glass with salt or Tajín by moistening the rim with a lime or orange wedge and dipping it into a plate of salt or Tajín. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
In the glass filled with ice, pour tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.
Add simple syrup or agave syrup to taste, depending on your preference for sweetness.
Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
Top off the glass with a splash of grapefruit soda or Jarritos grapefruit soda, typically about 2-4 ounces, depending on your preference for strength and effervescence.
