Ingredients
- 2 1/2 oz (75 ml) Bourbon whiskey
- 8-10 Fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprig for garnish
Instructions
- In a Julep cup, highball glass, or silver cup, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup.
- Fill the cup with crushed ice.
- Pour bourbon over the ice in the cup.
- Stir gently to combine the ingredients and frost the cup.
- Add more crushed ice to form a mound above the rim of the cup.
