- 2 1/2 oz (75 ml) Bourbon whiskey
- 8-10 Fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprig for garnish
In a Julep cup, highball glass, or silver cup, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup.
Fill the cup with crushed ice.
Pour bourbon over the ice in the cup.
Stir gently to combine the ingredients and frost the cup.
Add more crushed ice to form a mound above the rim of the cup.
