Oaxaca Old Fashioned

The Oaxaca Old Fashioned brings a bold and smoky twist to the timeless Old Fashioned cocktail. Originating from the mezcal-rich region of Oaxaca, Mexico, this variation substitutes traditional bourbon or rye whiskey with a blend of tequila and mezcal. The smoky character of mezcal intertwines with the earthy sweetness of agave syrup, creating a robust and multi-layered drinking experience. Garnished with an orange twist, this cocktail is a homage to the depth and complexity of flavors found in Mexican spirits.
