- 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila (preferably blanco)
- 3 oz (90 ml) Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) Simple syrup or agave syrup (optional, to taste)
- Club soda or grapefruit soda
- Grapefruit wedge for garnish
- Salt or Tajín (optional, for rimming)
If desired, rim a highball glass with salt or Tajín by moistening the rim with a grapefruit wedge and dipping it into a plate of salt or Tajín. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
In the glass filled with ice, pour tequila, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
